Sales Page Rewrite for Language Habit Toolkit
Client | Kerstin Cable from Fluent LAnguage
Kerstin helps people learn languages with joy and curiosity and I wish I knew about her when I was on the struggle bus of learning German AND French at the same time in high school…
Kerstin came to me saying that her course is bloody brilliant but she wasn’t sure if the copy captured it enough.

After going through the existing sales page, I sent Kerstin a few questions to get clearer on her audience. The challenge was that since she works B2C (business to consumer) and language learners turn out to come in A LOT of ages, experiences, and motivations: from business people wanting to impress in meetings abroad to retirees desiring to order a sangria in flawless Spanish…
I delivered a Google Doc with the existing sales copy in there, as well as my suggested changes and some design notes for the page. Notes for all of her email funnel emails were also included 🔥
My take | 🤷🏻♀️📓⚡️
Kerstin works in a really cool niche and has some amazing courses, but because her audience is so wide, it’s tricky to speak to just one “ideal client”. So I didn’t do that. I did end up highlighting some of the common frustrations in learning a language and interlacing the copy with examples from her real-life students.
Just because you’re not trying to learn Russian to impress your boss, doesn’t mean you don’t understand that struggle.
Of course, I also polished up the language, reviewed the order and added some design notes.
REsults | Copy with personality
Previous headline: Build a productive language learning routine that makes you feel fluent, not frustrated.
New headline: There are thousands of ways to learn a language. Let’s find yours.
Here’s what Kerstin had to say:
During our chat through the sales page, Kerstin also reflected that her course is best for people who have already tried several learning methods and resources but struggle to put it all together AND adamantly told me that results come from your attitude (that’s true for more than language learners…)
She’ll add this reflection to the next iteration of her sales page, but I’ve also challenged her to record a ranty sales video and add that to separate the perfect people for this course from everyone else.
